GETT42191 Tintype of Pvt. John Buchan & Sgt. Terrance McCabe
A (4 ¼ x 3 ¼ inches) quarter tintype in full case of Sgt. T. McCabe, on the right, and Private John Buchan of Company H who aided in taking Fisher off the field. Both are seated in full uniform and accoutrements are visible, cap box, etc. Both ware kepi’s. A lovely and clear image of two soldiers who survived the bloody fighting on July 2nd. The image is in a full case of leather over wood. Buchan made Fisher’s temporary grave marker.
