These calling cards were not listed in the original Fisher Collection but were a seperate purchase, presumed to be from the Bracken Collection, by the FNMPG four years later. Value data not made available. Bush states in his 3 Sep 1863 letter, “My card was placed at the Head board on July 3rd, ’63. Asst. Surg. Ramsay USA did the writing as I had been wounded in my right hand the day before and could not then write at the time.” Because of the intense rain on the 4th, the card was removed by Pvt. Buchan and replaced with inscribed parts of a cigar box.
